This Pricing, Purchase, Payment, Shippng & Returns policy sets out how Vintage Cameras Galore will provide Purchase, Payment, Shipping & Returns facilities when you make purchases from VCG Online. By purchasing from VCG Online, you agree to be bound by these terms. From time to time this policy may be amended. The effective date of this policy is 01 May 2020
Pricing & Purchasing
Placing an order online with VCG constitutes an offer to purchase. Due to the nature of instant online payments, the purchase is not accepted by VCG until you receive notification of acceptance. Notification of acceptance of your order will be sent at the time of despatch. The payment received notification is not acceptance of your order.
All prices on the VCG website are online only prices and are correct at the time of listing the products. Any pricing errors will be notified to you as soon as possible. If the incorrect price is higher and you wish to continue with your purchase, we will issue an invoice for the additional payment, or we can of course refund you in full should you wish to cancel. Likelwise, if there is an overprice, we will refund you the relevant amount.
Purchasing & Stock Availability
Availability of stock - Whilst every effort is made to ensure that products are in stock and can be quickly dispatched, very occasionally we can be out of stock for short periods of time. When this occurs, we will inform you of the expected receipt of new stocks and ask if you wish to wait until the item is in stock, or offer you a suitable alternative item, or refund the cost of the item at the earliest opportunity.

We endeavour to be as accurate as possible. All sizes are approximate. All items are offered subject to availability at the time of ordering.

Shipping & Delivery
Unless otherwise stated, we aim to despatch goods within 7 working days, but on occasion during busy periods, this may take longer. Delivery. Our shipping system calculates the weight of the items purchased and applies the relevant cost for the shipping services available. It automatically selects the lowest cost option, but offers alternative services you may select. Any error in postage costs that causes an overpayment by you will be rectified as soon as possible. Likewise, if there is an error where there is an undercharge for the service selected, we will use the next lower priced suitable service. Heavy items will be shipped by ParcelForce Services.
All Free Shipping offers will be sent by a service of our discretion, by the most economical method avaialble, and are not time based services. If your purchase qualifies for free shipping but you require it to be delivered within a given time frame, you must select a paid for service of your choice. All deliveries will be carried out under the relevant carrier's terms and conditions and delivery times. If delivery cannot be made or is refused and goods are returned to us, we will recover the cost of such return incurred by us from you, the customer.

Consumer Rights
Under The Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have certain rights to cancel your order for any reason without penalty. This is known as a 'Cooling Off' period and is not intended to be used for faulty or damaged goods.
If you wish to cancel, please e-mail us, clearly stating your full details, invoice number and the items you wish to cancel the purchase of. You must give us notice within 14 days, starting from the day after you take delivery of the order. We will then issue return instructions to you.
Once you have cancelled, you have a legal "duty of care" to take good care of the goods. You must return the goods to us in 'as received' condition with all original packaging at your expense.Should the goods have deteriorated, been used or damaged whilst in your care, we are permitted to deduct an amount from any refund due.
We would advise that you use a recorded-delivery service for small items and an insured courier service for larger items. Please mark all parcels clearly with your returns number.
We will refund you the full amount paid for the goods and original postage costs (or part thereof for part order returns), incurred by you for their original delivery to you, as soon as possible and within 14 days of the date we recieved the goods back. The refund will be returned only via the original purchase payment method.

VCG strives to describe all goods and services on this website accurately. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods as described, are suitable for the purpose you intend to use them for. Where it is found a description is innacurate, we will arrange for the goods to be returned to us and provide a full refund of the purchase and shiping charges.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the goods you receive are in perfect condition, sometimes faults are missed and damage occurs. In the case of you receiving faulty or damaged goods, please contact us within 24 hours. We will then offer you one of the following options: -

We will, at our cost, repair your item to working condition.
Direct replacement
We will at our cost, send a direct replacement for your item.
Alternative repalcement
Where a direct replacement is unavailable, we will, at our cost, offer you goods of a similar nature and cost if you wish.
Credit Note
Where a direct or alternative replacement is unavailable, we will offer you a credit note if you wish.
Full Refund
Where a direct or alternative replacement is unavailable, we will offer you a full refund of the purchase and associated postage costs.
Refunds.
In all cases where a refund may be required, please do contact us before raising any disputes with payment processors. We will always resolve any issues to your satisfaction. Disputes with payment processors, in particular, are not productive, are costly, and should only be used as a very last resort. It should not be the first port of call, as in ALL cases of problems, we will fix it long before that is required. Any disputes raised when we have not had a chance to correct any problems will cause us to follow their resolution process, as they withold funds we would use for your refund. Once the matter is settled by them, we will close any account involved without further notice.
Refunds will not be given for any goods that are faulty on arrival, that have had attempts to repair them by the buyer or any other unautorised person or company. Doing so will limit remedies to repair by us, credit note or replacement of goods with equivalent or better items..
